Anniversary with 150 mountain bike teams: MONDRAKER ENDURO TEAM in Davos sold out for the 10th time

The established mountain bike fun race MONDRAKER ENDURO TEAM in Davos Klosters will take place for the 10th time already from 17th to 19th September 2026. Once again, of course, almost all categories were sold out within a few hours – even the 99+ category, which was newly created to mark the anniversary, involves 14 teams. For the 450 participants of this very popular team enduro race, the focus lies on the first-class trails of the region as well as on the international camaraderie. Many riders attend this iconic event year by year. This time, the anniversary will also be celebrated in style. For the ENDURO TEAM Kids Race for children aged 8 to 15 on 19 September 2026, there are still places available.

For the 10th time again, it all went very fast: Within a few hours only, almost all categories of the event were sold out. The classic teams of two, but especially the extremely popular places for FUN TEAMS of 3 to 6 people. 450 riders from 14 nations will be competing in some 150 teams at MONDRAKER ENDURO TEAM in Davos Klosters from 17th to 19th Sep-tember 2026. The FUN TEAM category once again has by far the highest number of teams and makes over half of the rider field. The rest are teams of two in the categories MEN, WOMEN, MIXED, 77+ and, new this year, 99+, in which the combined age of the two par-ticipants must be at least 99 years. “Along with our event, our loyal riders have also grown ol¬der. A good reason to finally launch 99+ for the anni¬ver¬sary edition!” announces organiser Britta Wild from Bike Academy Davos. “We have an extremely loyal field of participants, some of whom have been with us since the beginning. So, there are a few grey hairs more here and there – not just for us...”, adds race director Michi Wild from Bike Academy Davos.

The ENDURO TEAM Kids Race is back – registration for 19 September is still open
As well as the older riders, the youngest are also being given a platform again at ENDURO TEAM in Davos. The children’s race for the 8- to 15-year-olds, which made its successful debut in 2022, is returning this year: It will take place on Saturday, 19 September 2026, parallel to the adult race. The youngsters will compete in four age categories (two years combined in each), but – unlike the adults – they will race individually. However, there’s more than enough of the famous ENDURO TEAM spirit to come up: the kids head to the start in groups, ride – depending on their category – the last two or three original stages of the main race and are welcomed in the same finish area at Bolgen. “Supporting young talents is a matter close to our hearts. That’s why it was clear to us to set up the children’s race again as part of ENDURO TEAM,” says organiser Britta Wild. “Like with the grown-ups, we expect an advanced level of mountain biking with the kids, according to their age.” In contrast to the adult race, the stages for the kids are announced in advance and are already published on the website. Defending champions and top teams starting: Anne Terpstra returns
Although MONDRAKER ENDURO TEAM is all about having fun, most of the defending champions and top teams from recent years are back in most categories. Especially within the teams of two, there are once again many familiar faces taking part, and in many categories there are promising teams, ready to challenge last year’s winners. In the MIXED category, for example, this is likely to be the case for the recently retired professional Anne Terpstra from the Netherlands and her partner Thomas Wickles, riding with the promising team name ‘Couple Goals’. Terpstra had already competed enthusiastically with her brother in 2024 and promised that she would return to this fantastic event at the next opportunity. In the category MEN, it’s worth keeping an eye on social media creator Louis Eisenhut, known for his daring and humorous bike videos. Will he and his team mate Nalu Hajdu prove themselves in competitive conditions too? It remains to be seen whether the favourites – ‘defectors’ from the 77+ category – will prevail in the new 99+ category, or whether newcomers will take the win. And although fun is even more important in the FUN TEAM category, there are some fast names on the race course too. 123 kilometres, 14 stages and new trail combinations again
The participants of MONDREAKER ENDURO TEAM will ride 14 stages within the three race days, measured sections that mainly lead downhill, between one and some five kilometres long. The total distance of the race is 123 kilometres, nearly 9000 metres of descent and some 1200 metres of ascent on the most attractive trails of the region. “In addition to some well-known classics, which of course must not be missed, we have integrated a few less known trail gems again this year”, reveals race director Michi Wild from the Bike Academy Davos. “So, for the many loyal riders who visit our event year by year, there will again be exciting combinations as well as long, great trail days in wonderful alpine scenery and the best mountain bike company!” The grand finale will again lead directly to the finish area at the Bolgen Plaza. So, a good atmosphere is guaranteed!

Anniversary celebration: 10 years of ENDURO TEAM
Of course, the legendary ENDURO TEAM Night on the final evening is a must once again this year. To mark the 10th anniversary, the big closing party will take place at Chalet Bello, right on the event site, for the first time. “We wanted a special venue for this special edition and are delighted to be hosting the party on site this time with our fantastic team of volunteers,” explains organiser Britta Wild. However, the extra festivities will start even earlier. This time, the welcome beer on Thursday evening will be served at the Bike Academy Davos’s new location, right in the shop.

Small OC – valuable partnerships
This year, Mondraker is the title sponsor for the eighth time already. The small organizing committee from the Bike Academy Davos is additionally supported by Davos Klosters Moun-tain Railways, the tourism organization and the unique Trail Crew Davos, who cares about the trails of the destination. “Furthermore, we are supported by Graubünden Sport and maintain partnerships with various recognized bike hotels in town”, Britta Wild explains. And beverage producer El Tony Mate is a partner again this year.

Spectators Welcome
Spectators are welcome at the mountain bike race, the event area is located at the Bolgen in Davos Platz, next to the valley station of the Jakobshorn cable car. The race can also be watched on the course from a little distance. However, during the race, the trails are closed to other users. Which trail sections will be used at what times will be posted shortly before the race at the mountain railways.
