We have to inform you with much regret that a medical death occurred this morning outside the race. It was not an accident.

As a consequence of this, stages 2 & 3 of today’s Thursday have been cancelled. In coordination with the closely involved people the OC has decided to continue the race on Friday and Saturday as planned.
